Grantham Danserye is a group for everyone interested in historic dance, music and costume. We practise and perform dances from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries. Our aim is to bring historic dances to life in an enjoyable way and have fun doing so. Many of our events are informal and we always welcome new members.

Due to the Covid restrictions we are unable to meet at our usual venue.  Instead we are holding weekly on-line historical dance sessions on Zoom.  These are usually on Tuesdays, 2-3pm.  If you wish to join us please contact us at for the joining instructions.

The regular location for workshops is Allington Village Hall, Side Street, Allington, Lincolnshire. NG32 2DZ

'Thank you both for such a lovely evening. The short talks about the elaborate costumes interspersed with the short dancing displays was very interesting and the two dances we all joined in was great fun.'

'Thank you to you and all the dancers for all you did for us at the Launch of our King James Bible exhibition. You absolutely made the event and created the atmosphere that I had hoped for.'
